We are a community that is continually and consciously evolving via meaningful participation, skilled facilitation, and a strong commitment to uphold our values:

• Encourage thoughtful stewardship of natural resources, emphasizing ways of nurturing and healing all beings connected to the land, including Sunward’s prairie, woods, ponds, and wetlands.

• Reflect a mindset of abundance, cooperation, healing, and shared responsibility by recognizing our interconnectedness and interdependence with one another and seeking to discern the collective good in all decision making.

• Cultivate trusting friendships through intentional connection, authentic communication, and purposeful engagement within Sunward and through outreach to the broader community.

• Honor individual differences, strengths, abilities, and gifts in community, shared work, and play.

• Thrive in harmony and dissonance with each other by committing to engaging directly with conflict and growing through this process, as individuals and as a collective.
